Get Involved

How can I help? We are looking for a multitude of community partners. Here are the ways you can support  Breakfast with Santa:

1. Volunteer. Many hands make light work. Register to volunteer for one of the many teams you can join. See below for roles descriptions:

  • Greeters responsible for greeting everyone who comes in for breakfast with the exuberant  joy of Christmas!

  • Tickets distributes colored tickets to all families to create an orderly and positive event experience

  • Maitre D' (Host) helps seat individuals in the dining hall so that we can maximize table space and bless everyone with a delicious pancake breakfast

  • Dining Room offers to clear away trash, assist families who have their hands full, and bring food from the kitchen into the dining hall to replenish the buffet table

  • Decoration Team is present at set times before the event to help deck the halls!

  • Toy Store Prep unload all those toys as they come in off the "sleigh" and organize them in the weeks and days leading up to the breakfast

  • Kitchen Team cooks up all the pancakes and sausages and prepares other food and drink for all families and kids in the dining hall

  • Face Painting an artist with a steady hand to draw holiday inspired masterpieces on the faces of children

  • Craft Station invites children and families to come and enjoy a simple Christmas craft to take home with them

  • Santa Station play the role of an elf (or Santa himself if you have the beard and the build!) and help capture those classic Christmas family snapshots

  • Elf Team take a child into the wonder of Santa's Toy Shop (several sleighs were needed to bring what we have down south), and help them pick out the first gift of Christmas

  • Safety Team folks who are ready to keep their eyes open for any "misfit toys" and assist anyone who might require special help (medical or otherwise)

 2. Give. We want to provide kids with new, high-quality toys this Christmas Season. We will not accept previously loved toys or games.  Toys can be dropped off or shipped directly to Messiah Lutheran Church.
